Under her Fiver moniker, Simone Schmidt delivered a powerful testament to the women of the Rockwood Asylum for the Criminally Insane on this year's Audible Songs from Rockwood, and she'll be taking those tunes across Eastern Canada on tour in the new year.
The string of shows begins in Guelph on January 11, and it will head east through Kingston, Montreal and Halifax, eventually wrapping up in Fredericton on January 19 as part of Shivering Songs.
Schmidt will be joined by fellow musicians John Showman and Chris Coole for the duration of the upcoming dates.
