Fiver

'Pinball Session' (live in-studio)

Not only is Simone Schmidt known for fronting bands like the Highest Order and One Hundred Dollars, she also plays as Fiver, and it's under this name that she recorded an in-studio performance for the Pinball Sessions.

The mini-set includes a brief spoken intro followed by the atmospheric ballads "Dayton" and "Smoke & Stream," both of which feature softly plucked electric guitar and Schmidt's folksy vocals. The tunes come from the brand new LP Lost the Plot.

An announcement from the Pinball Sessions notes, "Schmidt is a pro, she's solid, and she loves her STNG pinball. So much so that we've bent one of our rules of only using images of machines pre-'90s. For this special two-song session, we had to honour Simone's passion with an image of Picard off her favourite machine."
