SXSW is taking over Austin this week, and we've already seen some footage from the festival courtesy of Jay-Z, whose entire set surfaced earlier this week. Now you can check out a couple of new tunes from baroque pop songstress Fiona Apple.
Apple appeared at the NPR Music showcase last night at Stubb's in Austin and delivered the new tracks "Anything We Want" and "Every Single Night," which you can watch below. She also played a new track titled "Valentine," though no footage of that one has surfaced yet.
The new material will presumably be appearing on her upcoming album, which is slated to arrive in late June and is titled -- wait for it -- The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do.
Check out Apple's performances of "Anything We Want" (mistitled on YouTube) and "Every Single Night" below.
And you can follow Exclaim!'s coverage of SXSW right over here.
