Fall of Troy

The title of the sophomore effort from this suburban Seattle trio is a reference to an evil twin or a duplicate but there’s nothing here that will have you seeing double. These three guys (all of whom are barely out of their teens) have created the sound and fury of ten men with influences ranging from the blistering screamo of Blood Brothers and Alexisonfire to the power-trio progisms of Rush and the complicated mathematics of Drive Like Jehu and back. Is it metal? Is it hardcore? Is it spazz-core? Is it mind-bendingly trippy? Is it noise? Is it genius? The answer to all of the above is an unqualified yes!
