Alexisonfire have enlisted some pretty sweet opening acts for their North American tour, adding METZ, Elliott and the Fall of Troy to the fold as they continue to build anticipation for their first full-length release in 13 years, Otherness.
Varying by date, the Canadian post-hardcore vets are reuniting on the road for the first time in two decades with Elliott, who will be performing their 2000 emo holy grail False Cathedrals in full. All Montreal shows will be opened by METZ.
AOF will be hitting a few stops in Canada this June, beginning in St. John's at the Iceberg Alley Performance Tent, and trekking their way through St. Catharines (where the band and Dallas Green's City and Colour will play their debut albums in full), Ottawa and Montreal, before finishing up the run at the Festival d'été de Quebec on July 16. The band recently made their return to the stage in Toronto, playing a free show with Chastity at History.
Previously released new tracks "Sans Soleil" and "Reverse the Curse" have previewed the album, which is out June 24 via Dine Alone Records.
