"Robitussin and Rejection"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 2, 2014

If you're feeling a little blue and under the weather, Eyehategod have got a winning combination to suggest for you: "Robitussin and Rejection." You can drink deep on the doomy, syrup-thick slice of modern sludge now, before it officially arrives on the band's Agitation! Propaganda!

The song plays it sloth-like, with misery-drenched six-string melodies progressively slowing down alongside drained-battery drum pummelling and Mike IX Williams virulent vocals about our "pathetic culture" of "closed-caption victim[s]."

You'll get knocked out, as if having just downed a couple bottles of extra-strength, grape-flavoured cough and cold serum, if you give the goopy tune a stream down below.

As previously reported, Agitation! Propaganda! arrives in North America May 27 through Housecore Records.
