Ex-My Chemical Romance Member Frank Iero Goes Solo for New Single

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 29, 2013

Former My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero's schedule cleared up significantly when the New Jersey punk band called it quits in the spring, and now he's announced he'll be striking out on his own with a two-song single in December.

This week, Iero confirmed on his website that he'll deliver his for jamia... on December 10 both digitally and as a limited-edition slab of 7-inch vinyl. While the official tracklisting has yet to be unveiled, Iero did give up the heart-shaped nail collage that serves as the single's artwork over Twitter, as well as a pic of the dust jackets, which lead us to believe the singles could be limited to 100 copies.

Iero has leaked demos the last few months over SoundCloud, including the distorted pop-punk number "Joyriding," which you can stream down below. He also contributed his "This Song is a Curse..." as an iTunes exclusive on last year's Frankenweenie Unleashed soundtrack.
