Evening Hymns Announce Fall Canadian Tour, Book Shows with Basia Bulat and Andy Shauf

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 17, 2013

Evening Hymns have had a stellar 2013, having earned a Polaris Music Prize long-list nod for their album Spectral Dusk and spending the summer on the road. This fall, the Toronto-based folk rock project will continue their run with more tour dates.

The band will open up for Basia Bulat in two short legs; first they will play with her in Montreal and Ottawa in early October, and then they will link up with her again a couple of months later for some Western Canadian dates in late November and early December.

In between those two legs, Evening Hymns will play some Ontario shows with Prairie songwriter Andy Shauf. See the schedule below.

What's more, both Evening Hymns and Shauf apparently have new albums in the works. Between dates, Evening Hymns will be recording at their studio in Mountain Grove, ON, and they plan to road-test some of the new tunes at the shows.
