Epsilons

Killed ‘Em Deader ‘N A Six Card Poker Hand

Epsilons make their triumphant return with Killed ‘Em Deader ‘N A Six Card Poker Hand, their much anticipated sophomore follow up to their explosive self-titled debut. Killed ‘Em Deader shows no signs of Epsilons having faltered with the creation of the often-difficult sophomore album. Instead, this new record features more of the spasmodic eruptions that gained so much acclaim for this California foursome the first time around. "Problems” nails the band’s persistent energy, while "Stronger Than Dirt” plays up the lo-fi, maniacal sensibilities and noisy dissolutions that Epsilons draw many of their strong points from. Recorded by Mike McHugh (Le Shok, Lightning Bolt), Killed ‘Em Deader is a flawless testament to this band’s garage rock truisms. "Seaview, Wilson? Yield!” breaks down into some raunchy surf stylings that epitomise the incessant energy that Epsilons convey in everything they do, while "My Momma Said” is a rollicking freak-out that ups the noise factor and shows that just when you think the Epsilons are loose enough, they can always get looser.
