Elliot Page and his friend Mark Rendall have released a new EP under their new Mark and Elliot project. The three-track, self-titled, independently released collection is available to stream now.
The short record comprised just a handful of songs, "One Way Track," "Desert Holes" and "Summer Summer." The tunes take on a DIY bedroom pop ethos, with minimal Omnichord instrumentation as the songs are driven by Page and Rendall's vocals and lyricism. As their Bandcamp profile describes the effort, "Mark and Elliot met in 2003. This is their first EP together — a lo-fi bedroom pop adventure!"
"This EP was so fun to make," Rendall wrote on Instagram. "Love you old friend [Elliot Page]. Hope everyone enjoys and that these songs bring a smile to your face."
In August, the project signed an overall deal with Universal Content Productions.
