Organizers behind Edmonton's Soundtrack Music Festival have cancelled their 2020 edition due to ongoing concerns regarding the coronavirus.
"We know this festival means a lot to many people and it hurts to have to send this message out, but ultimately the safety of our fans, artists, vendors, volunteers, staff, sponsors, partners and community comes first," the Kinsmen Club of Edmonton wrote in a statement.
Organizers noted that all Soundtrack 2020 ticketholders who purchased tickets through Eventbrite will be fully refunded. Further refund information will be revealed at a later date.
The festival, slated to take place June 26 and 27 at Edmonton's Kinsmen Park, was set to feature Kesha, Third Eye Blind, T.I., Timbaland, the Trews, Everlast, Flavor Flav and more.
