The Rock and Roll Society of Edmonton and Trixstar are proud to present the 10-year milestone comeback of Edmonton Rock Fest. The one-day festival is set to take place on August 14 at the historic Racetrack Infield on the Edmonton Exhibition Lands.

This summer the festival lineup will include the likes of Tom Cochrane & Red RiderGlass Tiger, Prism, Toque, Chronic Rock and the local Centre for Arts and Music students.

Operating under enhanced safety measures, Rock Fest will have limited capacities to ensure safe social distancing. Reserved tables are available for up to six people, with full food and beverage service and delivery available via mobile ordering. Mandatory masks and contact tracing will also be in place in accordance with Alberta Health guidelines.

For the unfamiliar, the Rock and Roll Society of Edmonton offers youth programming for children who would otherwise have few opportunities to participate in the arts. They learn how to write songs, play instruments and perform together onstage — and the pandemic has not stood in their way.

"Whether it be through outdoor classes in the park last summer or online classes when we couldn't gather, we're proud to have been a consistent presence in the lives of our students," RRSE president Melanie Kidder said in a statement.
