Normally a three-song demo clocking in at five minutes wouldn't warrant much press but when you're Virginian grinders Drugs of Faith, it does. Opening cut "Race to the End" sounds like the best of Enemy Soil, a neglected grind band this group features ex-members of. "Anemic" rages like Agoraphobic Nosebleed covering Converge. "The Age of Reason" brings it all home with a hardcore-cum-grind rager with a bit of off-kilter melody and some sludge thrown in for good measure. Then, just like that, it's over. Awesome. Expect a full-length on Selfmadegod at some point. In the meantime, track down this quickie for a taste of what's to come.
