Following last month's tragic bombing in Boston, local Celtic punk faves Dropkick Murphys have been raising money for the victims, and as part of this campaign, they've released a short EP featuring a very high-profile guest: Bruce Springsteen.

The Boss appears on a newly re-recorded version of "Rose Tattoo" from the band's recent album Signed and Sealed in Blood. Rose Tattoo: For Boston Charity EP also features acoustic versions of two other songs from the LP — "Don't Tear Us Apart" and "Jimmy Collins's Wake" — which were recorded last month in Las Vegas, just a few days after the bombing.

The three-song collection costs just $1.29, with 100 percent of the money raised going to the Claddagh Fund to assist those affected by the tragedy. It's available to purchase from iTunes.

In related news, the band have also been raising money for bombing victims via a charity T-shirt sale. It appears to be currently sold out.
