Gradey Dick has been settling into Toronto nicely since the Raptors selected him with their first pick in the NBA Draft last month.
He's gone to a Blue Jays game, seen the sights with his family and, apparently, gotten DMs from Drake.
Dick revealed in a podcast interview that Drake, who acts in an ambiguous role as the Raptors' Global Ambassador, messaged him right after he was drafted.
"The first DM, he just said 'welcome home,'" Dick told Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks.
"First step to being best friends. I love it,'' she replied.
Drake has been known to name-drop Raptors players in his songs in the past (e.g. Vince Carter, Lou Williams, Cory Joseph), and the interaction has fans spiralling down a rabbit hole of phallic humour.
