Last year, Dave Smalley brought back his old teenage hardcore group DYS for a handful of online singles, but the iconic punker is currently getting ready to bash it out again with his longtime Down By Law project. The group is about to release Champions at Heart, their first LP in nine years, and will be taking the new tunes on a Canadian tour this August.

While the act have toured off and on for the last few years, the upcoming Canadian trek is the first in support of a new album since 2003's Windwardtidesandwaywardsails. The trip kicks off on the West Coast at Vancouver's Funky Winkerbeans on August 11, and it'll see them heading out as far as Montreal. The 10-show stretch wraps up August24 in Kingston, ON. You can see all the details down below. Joining the group on all dates is East Bay rock-punk unit the Atom Age.

Champions at Heart hits retailers August 14 via DC Jam records.
