D.O.A.

Punk Rock Singles 1978-99

Delivering a massive bout of déjà vu, this latest D.O.A. collection may feature some of the band's best material over the course of their career, such as "Disco Sucks," "Fucked Up Ronnie," "The Prisoner" and so on, but it's becoming more and more difficult to justify buying Joey "Shithead" Keithley's endless repackaging of the same old same old. As noted in the title, this time around it's a collection of the band's various seven-inch single material. However, other than one or two tracks, most of this collection saw the light of day on the War And Peace compilation a few years ago, not to mention the full-lengths they were culled from in the first place. Regardless, one is hard-pressed to knock a punk rock classic such as D.O.A. and fans will, begrudgingly, shell out some hard earned dough to hear 1999's "Nervous Breakdown," "Marijuana Motherfucker" and so on conveniently placed in chronological order.
