A few months out from the release of their newest full-length album Deceiver, DIIV have come together with Kentucky folk artist Tomberlin to release their own version of Low's "Words."
The cover of Low's 1994 slow burner comes as a part of DIIV's recent SiriusXMU session. The resulting effort between Tomberlin and the band doesn't mince the essential drawn-out, slowcore elements found in the original. Rather, it extends them to the tune of nearly an additional minute of recording.
During their session, the band also recorded a performance of their Deceiver track "For the Guilty." Both tracks can be heard below.
