Forever superstar Diana Ross has shared "If the World Just Danced," the second single from her upcoming 25th(!) solo studio album Thank You, out November 5 on Decca.
"There's no wrong way to dance, just do it," Ross said in a statement about the song. "Let everyone know to have FUN. Joy, Joy, Joy is the answer. Playfulness! Happiness! When you dance there is only love in life. When you dance the world dances."
The clubby, synthetic single is more obviously-2021 than the Jack Antonoff-assisted funk-pop of "Thank You," and was co-written with Aliandro Prawl, Andre Pinckney, Scott M. Carter, Vanessa Wood, Jaquetta Singleton and Ed Sheeran collaborator Amy Wadge. Check it out below.
Thank You is Ross's first full-length album since 2006's I Love You and her first collection of original material since 1999's Every Day Is a New Day.
