Pop performer Demi Lovato has been rushed to the hospital, and early reports suggest she's being treated for a drug overdose.

According to TMZ, the singer was rushed to the hospital from a home in the Hollywood Hills just before noon today.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Lovato appeared to have suffered from a heroin overdose, though sources later disputed that the drug was indeed heroin.

Paramedics confirmed to the publication that Lovato was found unconscious. She was treated with Narcan.

Lovato has famously fought substance abuse for years. She recently revealed that she had relapsed in her single "Sober."

A source told People that Lovato is currently in "stable" condition. The source also denied claims that Lovato's emergency was a heroin overdose.

UPDATE (7/25, 8:45 a.m. EDT): This morning, Lovato's rep issued a statement about the singer's condition.

"Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support," it reads [via the Associated Press]. "Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now."
