Mouse-masked Canadian EDM juggernaut deadmau5's new "Telecommunications" video combines 20 different animators' interpretations of the song's cellphone-conversation-centred lyrics, presenting a universal appeal to the everyday action.
The animators were selected via an international competition, and use 3D CGI, stop-motion and traditional hand-drawn cells to present collaborator Imogen Heap's sung narrative, which has a figure at an airport on the phone with a loved one.
