As part of Dashboard Confessional's ongoing 20th anniversary celebrations, Chris Carrabba is launching a vinyl reissue series called The Early Days, which will kick off with the first-ever vinyl release of the project's classic The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most.
The vinyl release of 2001's The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most will arrive on July 31, coming as multiple limited colour vinyl versions and one on traditional black wax. Following that initial release, the reissue series will go on to feature vinyl re-release of 2000's The Swiss Army Romance and a first-time pressing of 2002's MTV Unplugged 2.0.
Right now, you can pre-order the vinyl edition of The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most.
There's a splatter colour vinyl version exclusive to the Dashboard Confessional website, while independent retailers will be offering up a orange and clear vinyl version. A yellow and blue vinyl version will be available through Vinyl Me, Please.
Alongside the reissue series announcement, Dashboard Confessional has revealed the project is entering into a partnership with soundtrack hub Mondo to release three EPs on vinyl for the first time this year. These include 2001's So Impossible, 2002's Summers Kiss and a newly created Spider-Man 2 EP. Details of those releases are expected to be announced soon.
Earlier this year, Dashboard Confessional released the career-spanning compilation The Best Ones of the Best Ones
