Nova Scotia trio Dark for Dark are set to enchant listeners with their latest LP All Dressed later this year, but you can get a first glimpse of the new material with a video premiere for album track "Moon Full Moon."
The new record follows up 2013's full-length debut Warboats, and hears Rebecca Zolkower, Jess Lewis and Melanie Stone further showcasing their penchant for mesmerizing three-piece vocal arrangements. It was produced by Jay Crocker, and hears the band incorporating some more pop-leaning influences into their traditional folksy sound.
That sonic evolution exudes from "Moon Full Moon," a track that captures a sense of melancholy but remains pleasantly melodic nonetheless. The accompanying video was captured through a telescope on the property of Stone's parents in Cape Breton, giving viewers a different perspective on the gorgeous East Coast scenery.
All Dressed will arrive on June 24 through Headless Owl Records. The band will also be taking the stage at Halifax's the Company House this Friday (April 29). Up the anticipation by watching the video for "Moon Full Moon" in the player below.
