With a new EP out recently and a full-length album on the way, Canadian rock unit Danko Jones are giving fans one more thing to feel grateful about. This month, the band are releasing the DVD Bring on the Mountain.
The generous double-DVD package includes a 90-minute documentary, 14 live performances and 19 music videos (that's every one the group have ever made). There's also a short film called The Ballad of Danko Jones, which is reportedly based on the Below the Belt video trilogy (made up of the songs "Full of Regret," "Had Enough," and "I Think Bad Thought") and features Lemmy, Elijah Wood, Ralph Macchio, Selma Blair, Jena Malone, Laura Margolis, Frank Drank, Mike Watt, Don Jamieson, Art Hsu and Jason Trost.
Bring on the Mountain is available from the Danko Jones website in a variety of formats, including standard DVD, digital release, and as part of a T-shirt bundle. It will be shipped on May 30, and if you buy yours now, you'll get an instant download of the first 10 minutes. Pre-order it here.
Watch a trailer below. We can't help but think that Danko doesn't exactly come off as humble in this clip.
