In a few days, Metallica and Lou Reed will officially unleash the godless abomination (or, for some weirdoes, an anticipated album) that is Lulu. Of course, the whole thing is available to stream now, so we've all got an idea of just how bad it is. One person in particular who couldn't stand the record was Toronto-based hard rocker Danko Jones.
Upon hearing the bizarre rock opera, Jones recently took to his Twitter and called the album the Ishtar, Waterworld and Battlefield Earth of rock'n'roll.
Apparently, the record was bad enough to forever sour Jones on Metallica, as he followed up his rant with a tweet that read, "Good Morning! Heard Metallica/Lou Reed album last night. Metallica collection now for sale. Tweet your $$$." It was accompanied by this photo, showing Jones meant business.
No matter what Danko thinks, however, Metallica and Lou Reed's Lulu will sour record stores and digital retailers on November 1 via Warner Bros.
