Now that Damian Abraham isn't hosting The Wedge anymore, the Fucked Up frontman has taken on a new journalistic endeavour: a podcast called Turned Out a Punk, the first episode of which has now emerged.
In an Instagram post earlier this week, Abraham explained the podcast like this: "Each week I'll talk to people from all walks of life with one thing in common: they all grew up listening to punk. First episode is with Beggars Group boss Martin Mills, who before putting out Adele records put out one of the 'first' punk records... and 'passed on Nirvana."
Listen to the episode featuring Mills below. It features the Beggars honcho talking about artists like Gary Numan, Chrome, Scott Walker, Sex Pistols, the Clash, the Fall, Ramones, R.E.M. and, of course, Adele and Nirvana.
Stay tuned for more Turned Out a Punk.
