If the long, hard road of touring gave its length in gold, Cursed would be blessed with Midas’s kingdom by now. Since January, the four-piece wrecking crew of Chris Colohan (vocals), Mike Maxymuik (drums), Christian McMaster (guitar) and Dan Dunham (bass) has shredded through over 150 performances worldwide to the deafening joy of their rapidly expanding fan base. But anyone familiar with their albums, the modestly titled One and Two, respectively, knows Cursed have intense energy to spare when it comes to providing the heavy metal goods. "I think we went so far this year, into band life and road life, that our heads are just pushed over the top at this point,” says Colohan, "but we’re just in such overdrive that it’s kind of fun.” Fans hungry for more new material can bet on being satiated, and as for what uninitiated crowd members can expect: "Deafness,” says Colohan, "Permanent fucking hearing damage.”
