"Have some faith in me" chimes Steven Stills as he kicks off the second so-called reunion album by'60s supergroup Crosby Stills Nash and Young. Looking Forward should end the never-ending pleas of longtime fans looking to relive their formative years. The magic (or at least most of it) that fuelled their early albums has all but disappeared. In its place, what we have in Looking Forward is a 12-song effort by Neil Young and a bunch of has-beens. Apart from four solid Young penned tunes, and one rocker by Crosby (the ultra-positive "Stand and Be Counted"), the record is a bunch of throwaways that would be left on the cutting room floor were it not for the names involved.
