Since releasing Tell Me How You Really Feel last year, Courtney Barnett unveiled a track called "Small Talk," and now the Aussie rocker is back with another new tune titled "Everybody Here Hates You."
The song will appear on Barnett's upcoming Record Store Day 7-inch single this weekend, and it premiered on Australia's Triple J radio yesterday (April 7).
Barnett explained that it's about "some sort of social anxiety that then morphs into paranoia and a level of sadness and depression" — and yes, the title is a play on Jeff Buckley's "Everybody Here Wants You."
Listen to "Everybody Here Hates You" over here via Triple J at the 21:15 mark.
Record Store Day takes place on Saturday (April 13).
Barnett will embark on a U.S. tour with the National later this year.
