BY Josiah HughesPublished May 25, 2011

Following the release of her excellent 2010 record, Hidden Dreams, Toronto, ON-based singer-songwriter Amanda Zelina has signed her folk project, the Coppertone, to Dine Alone Records. Her first release is an EP called Hymns for the Hollow, which is available to hear right now.

Zelina describes Hymns for the Hollow as the "big brother of Hidden Dreams." Extrapolating, a press release calls the album "an extension of the explorations found on the debut, with slight refinements, including more dynamic and hooky choruses and a further emphasis on an engulfing overall atmosphere."

Hymns for the Hollow will be released on May 31 via Dine Alone, but the whole record is available to stream below. Also, be sure to check out the Coppertone on the project's upcoming Ontario tour dates.
