Having signed her project the Coppertone to Dine Alone Records and releasing the EP Hymns for the Hollow, bluesy Toronto-based singer-songwriter Amanda Zelina is currently working on a new album. Before we get the details on that, however, we have a new video for the EP cut "Black Water."
This is straightforward tour video that begins in the van and shows Zelina unloading her gear and tuning up before rocking out on a darkened stage. More travels, performances and gorgeous Canadian landscapes follow. This was filmed over a week in November, and it makes for a frosty-looking accompaniment to this raw and rockin' blues tune.
Along with the new Adrian Vieni-directed video, the Coppertone is playing the Dine Alone Records showcase on March 23 at the El Mocambo during CMW.
