Converge have been around for a hell of a long time, but the metallic hardcore legends have always existed outside of the mainstream, doing things on their own terms and defying trends rather than following them.
The momentum keeps going as the band are at work on the Thousands Of Miles Between Us DVD, their follow-up to 2003s The Long Road Home. Their website promises that "this new project will again raise the bar of what should be expected from music DVD releases. As the title suggests, Thousands Of Miles Between Us will document the bands travels across the world, showcasing the best live moments from their touring around the globe. Shows from Europe, Japan, and the U.S. will be featured, some sets even in their entirety. All this along with interviews with band members, crew, and friends who have been part of the band's ongoing touring legacy.
On top of the DVD, the band are also at work on a deluxe reissue of their now-classic LP Jane Doe. They are currently on tour in Europe with Integrity and Coliseum.
