Closet Case

He may be losing his marbles, but R. Kelly is only getting more innovative with his lunacy. The first 12 chapters of his Trapped in the Closet hip-hopera were nothing short of bonkers and now the next ten officially confirm that — to quote the man himself — R. Kelly is "crazier than a fish with titties.” Reprising his role as Sylvester, Kelly goes all Eddie Murphy, suiting up to play grumpy old Randolph, vulgar televangelist Mosley and Pimp Lucius for this 45-minute sequel sung entirely himself. The twisted, interlinked high drama only gets wilder and weirder, surpassing the first instalment with even more gay love triangles, gangsta posturing, a cameo by Will Oldham as a cop, and a mysterious condition known only as "the package.” Passions ain’t got shit on R. Kelly. And there are still more chapters to come. Stay trapped.
