Indefinable as always, Cities Aviv's NXNE set was possibly even more puzzling than anyone had imagined. Dressed like a punk rocker, cultivating the beginnings of dreadlocks and rapping fiercely over his own brand of EDM, Cities Aviv was a one-man paradox. He threw bottles, mic stands and his own body around the stage like he was Sid Vicious. Unfortunately, his energy wasn't backed up by any of the slickness you'd expect from listening to his recordings. For a rapper with such unique backing music, you'd think it would play an integral part in the show, but Aviv used only a paltry setup of a laptop and a mixer lying on the floor. This meant that he merely pressed play at the start of each song before spitting, and despite the fact that this left him with nothing to do but rap, he barely accomplished that.
