We learned a new double album from Cindy Lee was in the works early last month, and a new LP has finally arrived — under a different title than announced.
In March, former Women vocalist-guitarist Patrick Flegel announced that a new double album titled Darling of the Diskotheque would see release this spring. Now, an effort titled Diamond Jubilee has been released, sporting 32 tracks total.
Diamond Jubilee follows the artist's pair of 2020 albums as Cindy Lee, What's Tonight to Eternity and Cat O' Nine Tails.
Unavailable on streaming platforms, Diamond Jubilee is currently available digitally in WAV format via Flegel's GeoCities site.
Said GeoCities site also points to the possibility of 2CD and cassette versions being available on Cindy Lee's upcoming North American tour with Freak Heat Waves, while a run of vinyl pressings is planned for "a while after the tour."
You can hear Diamond Jubilee in its entirety in the player below, ahead of purchasing the album digitally.
Canadian stops on Cindy Lee's North American tour are set for Nanaimo, Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
