Following last week's surprise release of Christopher Owens' intimate Chrissybaby Forever LP, the former Girls leader has unveiled a particularly personal set of visuals to support the album's "To Take Care of Myself Again."
Owens directed the video himself, and it's presented home movie-style. Scored by a melancholy collection of plucked acoustic guitars, distorted chords and Owens' reflective lyrics, it features a montage of memorable moments. This includes portrayals of family time at a science centre, a candid trumpet performance, a dip in a lake, and the gentle tousling of one's hair at the hands of a loved one.
You'll find the video down below, while the digital edition of Chrissybaby Forever is available now on Bandcamp. A limited edition 12-inch will be issued on August 20.
Don't forget, Owens also has a North American tour starting up tomorrow (June 3). He'll hit Toronto and Vancouver later in the month. You'll find the details over here.
