Christine McVie Reportedly Rejoining Fleetwood Mac

Fleetwood Mac recently suffered a serious setback when they cancelled some shows due to John McVie's cancer diagnosis, but here's some good news from the group: long-absent vocalist Christine McVie has apparently returned to the lineup.

This news isn't totally unexpected, since she made a couple of live cameos with Fleetwood Mac last year. She even told the Guardian back in the fall that she would be interested in rejoining the group.

Now, it seems that she has got her wish. Fleetwood Mac News [via Rolling Stone] reports that, during a show in Hawaii over the weekend (January 11), Mick Fleetwood performed the McVie-sung "Songbird" and said, "This is the worst kept secret there is, but Christine McVie will be rejoining Fleetwood Mac!"

The band and McVie have yet to announce the news officially, but from the looks of things, we can expect an announcement before too long. McVie hasn't been a member of the outfit since the '90s and hasn't taken part in recent reunions. She wasn't on last year's Extended Play.
