Chris Brown and two other men have been arrested in Paris following a rape complaint.

According to Reuters, the three men were detained on Monday (January 21) after a 24-year-old woman alleged that she was raped at Brown's hotel suite last week.

UPDATE (1/22, 4:19 p.m. EST): After being released from police custody without charge, Brown has denied the allegations in an Instagram post, calling them "FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP" in an all-caps caption. The photo he uploaded (seen below) reads, "THIS B!TCH LYIN'"

French police said that Brown, his bodyguard and one other man were arrested on suspicion of rape and are still being detained.

The Daily Mail reports that Brown met the woman at a Paris nightclub on January 15 and took her back to the Mandarin Oriental hotel where he was staying.

As of press time, Chris Brown's team has issued no public comment regarding the arrest.

Last year, a woman accused Brown of sexually assaulting her multiple times at his California home in February 2017.

In 2009, Brown infamously pleaded guilty to assaulting his then girlfriend Rihanna. He completed probation for that felony charge in 2015. Since then, he has been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and a felony battery charge stemming from an alleged 2017 nightclub attack in Tampa.
