It's been one week since Gord Downie passed away at the age of 53, and the world continues to pay tribute to the late Tragically Hip frontman. In addition to the planned public memorial, Downie will now be remembered with a free public singalong.

Tonight (October 24), at Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto group Choir! Choir! Choir! will host a public singalong. In a statement, the group said that Downie "means so much to so many" and "made us all feel so proud to be Canadian."

The group plan to sing Hip hits like "Ahead by a Century," "Bobcaygeon" and "Courage," along with Downie's Secret Path single "The Stranger," so be sure to brush up on the lyrics if you plan to attend.

Choir! Choir! Choir! asks that attendees contribute a minimum of $5, which will be donated to the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund.
