Not long after opening his year with the drop of Two Zero One Seven, Chief Keef now finds himself back in trouble with the law after attacking and robbing a former producer.

Los Angeles police arrested Keef and an associate on Thursday night (January 26) for assaulting producer Ramsay Tha Great in his own home last week, TMZ reports. The arrest came after police obtained a warrant to search the producer's Tarzana, CA home.

Ramsay took to Instagram to post pictures and video from his hospital bed, in which he claimed Keef and five others had jumped him while armed with an AK-47 last week. He also plans to press charges.

TMZ reports that Keef is being held on on $500,000 USD bail. Watch Ramsay's Instagram video below.
