Politically-minded metal mavericks Chat Pile released one of Exclaim!'s favourite albums of 2022 with God's Country, and now they've announced plans to take it on the road.
The band's 2023 tour takes the band around North America — primarily the eastern part — during the late summer and early fall. This includes two Canadian shows: Montreal on September 23 and Toronto the day after (September 24). The dates are with Never.
UPDATE (8/23, 1:51 p.m. ET): Chat Pile have extended their North American tour plans into November. Check out the new dates in bold below.
The band said in a statement, "We told everyone for the longest time that you'd probably never see Chat Pile on the road for any extended period of time. Well, turns out we had no idea what we were talking about. Sometimes miracles do happen, and sometimes they're kind of low-rent and inconsequential. We're looking forward to hanging out with our friends in Nerver, as well as the other extremely cool bands joining us on this run."
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (June 2). Meanwhile, Chat Pile are working on their second LP.
