CFCF

It's heartening to see Montreal's CFCF (aka Michael Silver) at work, a solider for the neo-new age scene and a master of the subtle sway. Silver standing on a stage that was situated within a large art installation featuring neon-coloured origami, My Little Pony toys and taxidermy wolves made for an absurd yet auspicious performance, but one where he barely noticed his surroundings. His obsession with mid-'80s keyboard sounds -- flutes, steel drum -- made for a quaint sleepiness that had the cool kids a flutter underneath the black lights.
