Formerly fast and furious Bay Area act Ceremony veered even further away from their hardcore beginnings on their Matador debut Zoo, and have been repping their new sound hard since the album was released earlier this month. Following the concert footage clip for "World Blue," Ceremony have now offered up the substantially more cinematic clip for "Adult."
Like the basic three-chord post-punk jam it supports, the video starts off celebrating a simpler time, presenting a heartwarming breakfast full of pies, fresh-made coffee and family prayers. But things get sinister when a prim and proper '50s-era housewife heads to her ooky hiding spot as soon as her hubby and child head off for the day.
