Having had a wildly successful 2018, Cardi B isn't quite ready to slow down this year, having confirmed plans to release a new album in 2019.
Speaking with listeners on Instagram (archived below), Cardi said, "of course it's going to be an album in 2019," adding that she'd ideally like to get the effort out around the same time as last year's Invasion of Privacy. That LP arrived in April 2018.
"Hopefully I can get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out," she continued. "I don't know how possible that's gonna to be because I feel like I'm gonna be extremely, extremely busy."
Recently, Cardi dropped a video for new single "Money" and found herself on the list of Barack Obama's favourite songs of 2018. Of course, Invasion of Privacy was one of our Top 10 hip-hop albums of 2018.
