Later this summer, the Sound of Music Festival will be heading back to Burlington, ON, for its 36th consecutive instalment, and details for this year's event have just been unveiled.

The nine-day fest will take over Burlington's downtown and waterfront areas, kicking off with a ticketed event on June 13 that will feature performances from Weezer, Our Lady Peace, Collective Soul, Finger Eleven, Current Swell and Scott Helman.

The following weekend (June 18-21) boasts a range of free concerts from artists like Chad Brownlee, Shad, the Tea Party, Dear Rouge, Stars, Loverboy, Aaron Pritchett, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Hollerado, Bobby Bazini, Alex Cuba, Deric Ruttan, Rik Emmett, the Acoustical Sounds of Big Sugar, Jillionaire, the Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer, and more.

"We're thrilled about the lineup of free concerts on Father's Day weekend and pretty excited about being able to bring such a stellar lineup to Burlington for the June 13 Kick-off Concert, to see all that talent for the price of the ticket is unbelievable," said president Andy Porecki in a statement.
