Bruce Springsteen will soon appear in court after being recently arrested in a drunk driving case.

TMZ reports that Springsteen was arrested November 14 at Gateway National Recreation Area in Sandy Hook, NJ. The songwriter was cited for DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area.

The site reports that Springsteen was cooperative throughout the arrest, and that a court appearance will come "in the next few weeks."

The news arrives days after Springsteen starred in a Super Bowl spot for Jeep, marking his first-ever advertisement appearance.

UPDATE (2/10, 4:30 p.m. ET): In wake of the news, Springsteen's Jeep ad has now been pulled off YouTube, as you'll see below.

Springsteen shared album Letter to You last year, while this month saw him release a massive 24-disc Darkness on the Edge of Town box set.
