After Bruce Springsteen spent the last couple of concerts in the UK railing against Donald Trump's administration, the POTUS has again taken to his Truth Social platform to call for a "major investigation" into the musician.

In response to Springsteen's criticism of him at the Manchester concerts, Trump suggested that appearances by Springsteen, Beyoncé, Bono and Oprah Winfrey during Kamala Harris's campaign may constitute "illegal campaign contributions."

"HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT?" he wrote. "WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN'T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO???"

He continued, "Candidates aren't allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment."

"In addition, this was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds," he added. "IT'S NOT LEGAL! For these unpatriotic 'entertainers,' this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system."

Springsteen has another Manchester show tomorrow (May 20) night, which should give him the platform to respond. The musician's tour is due to last into early July. It's unclear if he intends to return to the US before then.
