Bright Eyes haven't released an album or toured since 2011's The People's Key, but it seems like the project is up to something.
An official Instagram page surfaced earlier today, and the band's Facebook page has been updated with a new profile image.
The photo matches a video clip that has been shared on Instagram, featuring red, white and blue figures falling from above against a black background. It is simply captioned: "#BrightEyes2020."
The band have yet to make any official announcements, but fans are already speculating that it could mean new music is on the way.

Since 2011, frontman Conor Oberst has released a string of solo albums. His most recent one was 2016's Ruminations, and it's full-band counterpart Salutations. He also released a self-titled album from his new band with Phoebe Bridgers, Better Oblivion Community Centre.
