Darkside's Dave Harrington has been rolling out a series of remixes and edits titled 12 Days of Remixes. Today (December 10), this brings us a reworking of Braids' track "Amends."
While many remixers take a song's vocals and give it a new beat, Harrington takes the opposite approach. He takes the hissing rhythms from Braids' Flourish // Perish cut and completely deconstructs the vocals, and the result is a glitchy, predominantly instrumental dance track.
