Boreal Network's 'Itasca Road Trip' Gets Vinyl Release via More Than Human

While some may have caught Seattle-based electro-ambient artist Boreal Network's (a.k.a. Nicole Johnson) Itasca Road Trip last year via a limited tape release, the set is about to get a fresh pressing on vinyl via Vancouver imprint More Than Human Records. The wax platter sees release through the label February 27, with a digital version to follow on March 18.

A press release explains that Itasca Road Trip has changed a bit since arriving on cassette last year through Illuminated Paths. The More Than Human Records version has apparently been "edited, reshaped and remastered" by the artist, and it also comes with new cover art, which you can see above.

It's further described that Itasca Road Trip plays out as "18 hazy snapshots" of a journey, with the various scenes either landing "optimistic," "strange" or "ominous."

Down below, you'll find streams of the set's chilled-out title track, as well as players for "This Is a Tornado Warning" and "Bad Monday Hymn."
